Lugogo, Kampala- The ongoing trade fair , has not only excited adults , but also pupils and students from various institutions of learning across the country.

As the norm is, every year a number of schools spared 9th October (independence day) as the day which they always visit the trade fair due to a number of reasons.
Even this year, many schools fulfilled that norm and brought in their learners to the 31st UMA International Trade Fair – Since the opening of the 2025 trade fair last week, it has never registered such a massive turnup of Thursday this week.

“For all along we have been having a reasonable number of visitors which is not so big, but for today the number of schools here is so overwhelming as you can see. Even the number of other groups of people has also increased today.” Remarked one of the exhibitors who preferred anonymity.
He also added that that the turned mostly benefitted those dealing in edibles, scholastic materials, sanitary products, Educational, clothing, Gifts, recreational services as well as entertainment services.

The education pavilion was so busy due to frequent visits of students who were eager to know what is new with in the country’s Education sector. Here there were given chance to interact freely with exhibitors that side whom they fired several questions on whatever topic they found to be of their interest.
However, as it is per the regulations governing the trade fair, all students by 4.30 pm were ordered to prepare and leave the grounds to avoid inconveniences that may come with their delay.
