Some of the Lawyers during their enrollment early this year.

During the Radical New Bar (RNB) weekly engagement on Thursday at Uganda Law Society headquarters, key stakeholders from various sectors of health, informed participants that some deadly health complications can be prevented, well as others can be handled successfully once detected at an early stage.

Lynette Mary Muhirwa, an Eye specialist from Lapaire Eye Care , revealed that some sight related issues are genetic well as others are as a result of someone’s lifestyle.

“If you spend much time on Computer, Mobile phones, as an expert I know that you will have eye related complications. I know that you spend a lot of time on Computers preparing paper work, internalizing documents and doing research, but I would advise you to regulate that time.”

She advised that Incase they are to spend longer hours in computers, the lawyers should atleast take a break from this work every after two hours and relax.

“I don’t want to tell you that this time you should be in bed, but I recommend six to eight hours of sleep daily.”

On diet, Lynette advised that with the improvement in technology, it is every one’s duty to search using their mobile phones the best food types for their health.

Dr.John Bigyemano, advised lawyers to stay away from conditions and situations which may lead them into getting stressed because stress is the number one cause of Non communicable diseases.

“Develop a tendency of periodical body checks because it can help them to identify some diseases at an early stage, thus making it easier to have them treated.”

He gave an example of vehicle that many of the car owners always respect the servicing routine of their vehicles which can be replaced any time, but can’t take proper care of their life which has no spare parts.

He also asked the members of the general public, to distance themselves from luxurious life without exercising, feeding on GMOs and fast foods which are the leading stimulators of cancer cells in the body.

On the side of treatment, the Doctor asked Lawyers to always use

regenerative medicine which not only treat diseases, but it completely flushes out toxins from the body.

Dr. David Ronald Yiga , the Chief Operations officer at Serenemind and Mental Health Expert, called upon everyone to take their mental well being as key because everything rotates around the brain.

“Many people ignore their mental health, some spend most of their time on social media trying to convince others that they are doing well which is not true in actual life. Many can’t explain how they are and end up being pushed into situations that they cannot manage.”

He advised that everybody should have at least three close friends with whom he/she shares with any life challenges instead of piling too much pressure in their heads.

During this session, participants both that attended physically and virtually, were granted to ask questions from all the above submissions.
