The Judiciary will today Monday 15th April 2024 hold its first National Court Open day where its going to interact with members of the general public.
The event is expected to attract Judicial officers from courts all over Kampala starting with Supreme Court justices to Grade one Magistrates.
According to the official communication from the chief Registrar, courts will be closed but the Registries will remain open for normal operations.

“This is to inform you that all the Judicial Officers of the Supreme Court, Court of Appeal, High Court Divisions and Magistrates Courts in and around Kampala will be attending the event.”
The event has already kicked off at Kololo Independence grounds and the Chief Justice Aliphonse Owiny Dollo is expected to officiate the function.
All key players in the justice law and order sector have already set up Exhibition stalls and they are explaining the members of the general public more about their services.
