Absa Bank Uganda, in partnership with the Kampala Hash House Harriers (KH3), have announced a star-studded entertainment lineup for the fourth edition of the Absa KH3 7 Hills Run, scheduled for Sunday, 17th May 2026.

Headlining the post-race cool-down at the Millennium Grounds, Lugogo are songstresses Azawi and Winnie Nwagi, Afro-dancehall sensation Dax Vibes, and the ever-charismatic King Saha. Their performances promise an exciting finale to a day dedicated to the vital cause of keeping the girl child in school.

The run continues to aim at addressing the high dropout rates among schoolgirls due to financial and social barriers. Proceeds from the 2026 edition will be directed toward improving menstrual hygiene management, providing bursaries, and renovating school facilities across Uganda.

“This run is about community, resilience, and purpose,” said Helen Basuuta Nangonzi, Marketing and Customer Experience Director at Absa Bank Uganda. “The energy of these artists mirrors the passion of our runners and their performances will provide a fitting finale to a day driven by collective effort to support the girl child, ensuring every finisher crosses the line into a celebration worth having.”

Beyond the philanthropic cause, the stakes for participants are higher than ever this year. The top male and female finishers in the 21km race will each receive a land title, courtesy of Bakaima Real Estate Agents, while the overall top runner will be awarded an additional UGX 10 million from Bakaima.

Furthermore, the top two male and top two female runners will earn an all-expenses-paid trip to represent Uganda at the Absa Black Stars Marathon in Accra, Ghana.

Kits are still available for purchase starting at UGX 35,000. Supporters and fitness enthusiasts are encouraged to pick up their kits at select Absa Bank branches and partner outlets to secure their spot on the starting line.

The flag-off is at 6:30am. Runners and walkers of all fitness levels are invited to take part in this meaningful event and stand with us as we work together to change a girl’s story.

Absa Bank Uganda Limited is part of Absa Group Limited, one of Africa’s largest diversified financial services groups listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange.
