On Wednesday 22nd Col.(rtd) Kiiza Besigye marked 70 years of age. This time his birthday found him in Luzira Prison where he is facing charges of Treason.
Several individuals sent him out Birthday wishes and asked him to remain strong regardless of the challenges he face.
“Dad Kizza Besigye, your life has always stood for courage, truth, and an unshakable love for people.
Even in the face of injustice and political persecution, your strength, resilience, and conviction continue to inspire not just me, but so many others around the world.” Remarked Adam Ampa Besigye (Besigye’s Elder Son)
He also thanked the Lord for sustaining him through every season. ” I pray He continues to strengthen your mind, body, and spirit, and surrounds you with his peace and everlasting grace in these difficult times of trial.”
He added that his resilience is a light that cannot be dimmed.
