NAMIREMBE – A few days after , Democratic Party (DP) Hon. Nobert Mao has threatened to discipline all party members wasting the party’s time in endless litigations, the aggrieved members have fired back.

These who have more than one cases in Court against DP leadership, being led by Benedicto Kiwanuka Galiko, a staunch member have vowed to continue with filing more cases in various courts of laws until when they will see that their party has got trustable leadership.

“Mao can’t defeat us in any court case because whatever he does, he knows that he does it illegally as a result of the delegates conferences they have been holding despite of several court orders against such. The only evidence they can bring against us in court is accusing whoever sues them that he is not a party member.” Galiko told journalists in Kampala

He also added that these cases in court are not for their personal use, but they are for the betterment of the party, since they will remain on Court record for reference purposes throughout the years.

On representing the Party at IPOD, Galiko said that Mao and Mr. Gerald Siranda know it very well that in that meeting they had taken their own views, not for the party.

In the Democratic party’s weekly press briefing, held at the beginning of this week, Mao asked party members to stop wasting Party’s resources by dragging it to court every time because he will not tolerate that business anymore.

He therefore warned that all those who will not change, will be forced to pay huge sums of money, which he is very sure that majority of the petitioners can’t even rise.
