This year’s event, scheduled to take place at the Mbale Cricket Ground, targets a wider range of exhibitors in the tourism value chain and expects to attract a larger number of visitors.

According to Racheal Kakungulu Kirama, President of the Elgon Tourism Expo and Business Forum, the event will provide a unique opportunity for exhibitors to showcase their products, services, and innovations to a diverse audience of industry professionals, potential partners, and consumers.

“The expo and forum will feature a business dinner at Courts View Hotel, where key industry discussions will shape strategies for sustainable development and transformative growth in the Elgon sub-region,” Kirama added.

The event will bring together investors, entrepreneurs, bankers, hoteliers, tour operators, fashion, film, and telecom companies, media, insurance players, conservation agencies, academia, policymakers, and local government representatives.

By facilitating meaningful interactions and knowledge sharing, the Elgon Tourism Expo & Business Forum aims to drive business success, enhance brand visibility, and secure partnerships, ultimately contributing to the growth and development of the tourism and business sectors in the Elgon sub-region.
