All is set for the first ever mega birthday party for the first son Gen. Muhoozi Keinerugaba.
While addressing the press on Thursday, the organizers led by Muhoozi’s uncle Michael Toyota, the birthday party will be held on Saturday 23rd, 2022 at Cricket Oval Lugogo in Kampala.
Toyota who is also the Chairman Team MK -a group in charge of organizing the event said there will be no limitations on who accesses the venue on the D-day as the Commander of Land Forces celebrates his 48th birthday in style.
Toyota assured the general public that the event is not political but a social event that should bring all Ugandans together as they celebrate the life of the first son.
He clarified that the event is not limited to only those invited adding that all people are free to attend the ceremony.
“I want to tell you that we are much ready and I want you to tell the world that everybody is allowed to come with or without a card” Toyota said.
He added that invitation cards are one of the tools they are using alongside radio announcements and oral messages.
“Its not about politics, religion nor colors but a social function. It’s purely entertainment and celebrations for the birthday of General Muhoozi Keinerugaba. I invite everybody. Lets join and celebrate the birthday of General Keinerugaba.” He said.
The guests who are invited from across the world will be treated to cutting a Birthday cake, entertainment, fireworks and all kinds of drinks and eats.
Asked about the budget and source of funds that will facilitate the event, Toyota also did not specify the amount but said 50,000 people are expected to attend the function and all requirements including food, drinks, entertainment have been offered by Gen. Muhoozi’s friends and well-wishers.
Asked whether Rwanda’s President, Paul Kagame will attend the cerebrations on Saturday, Toyota noted that he hasn’t invited him for this event but he is expected in the subsequent events.
He quickly added that a lot of friends have been invited from within the region and other parts of the world who are expected to be in attendance.
