KAMPALA, Uganda – The Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) has officially released the Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) results, allowing candidates, schools, and institutions to access them through multiple channels.

Accessing UACE Results via School Portals

Schools can access the results immediately through the UNEB online portal. Headteachers and examination center administrators are required to log in to the UNEB portal using their assigned credentials to download and print the results for their candidates.

Accessing UACE Results via SMS

Candidates and guardians can check results using the UNEB SMS service by following these simple steps:

  1. Open the messaging app on your mobile phone.
  2. Type UACE followed by a space and then the candidate’s full index number (e.g., UACE 123456/001).
  3. Send the message to 6600.
  4. You will receive the results instantly via SMS.

This service is available on MTN and Airtel networks and is subject to standard SMS charges.

Hard Copy and Certificate Distribution

While digital access to results is immediate, hard copies of the results will be sent to schools at a later date. UNEB will communicate the specific dates when hard copies will be available for collection.

Certificates will also be printed after all necessary reviews and corrections are completed. Schools and individual candidates will be informed when certificates are ready for collection.

Submission of Queries and Amendments

School administrators and candidates are advised to review their results carefully and submit any queries or amendment requests within 21 working days from the date of release. This process should be done electronically through the UNEB portal to facilitate quick processing and ensure timely issuance of certificates.

For further assistance, candidates and school administrators can contact UNEB through official communication channels or visit their website for more details.
