CHICAGO — Hyatt Hotels Corp. announced it anticipates a 50% growth in its room count across Africa by the end of 2030, building on significant expansion over the past two years.

The hospitality company saw a 51% increase in rooms in Africa over the last two years, driven by new properties and brand introductions. This included the opening of Park Hyatt Marrakech, marking the luxury brand’s debut in Morocco; Hyatt Centric Cairo West, the brand’s first on the continent; Hyatt Regency Harare – The Meikles, Hyatt’s inaugural hotel in Zimbabwe; and Hyatt Regency Nairobi Westlands, its first in Kenya.
