Kampala- On Wednesday, the Executive Director of Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) Hajat Sharifah Buzeki paid a courtesy call on the Head of State House Anti Corruption Unit (SHA-CU), Brig Gen Henry Isoke.
She was accompanied by KCCA Directors of; Engineering & Technical Services, Eng Justus Akankwasa, Physical Planning, Vincent Atenyi Byendamira, and the Deputy Director Legal , Caleb Mugisha.
During the meeting, they discussed ways to strengthen coordination and collaboration in areas of mutual interest to enhance the delivery of their respective mandates. The meeting also reviewed the progress of ongoing investigations being undertaken by the Unit into allegations of illegal construction in the City.
The meeting was also attended by Mr Patrick Kateeba, the Acting Executive Secretary National Building Review Board which is providing technical assistance to the State House Anti-Corruption Unit in the said investigations. He was accompanied by their Manager of Investigations, Eng Joseph Acai.
