MASAKA, Uganda — Movit Products Limited rewarded 558 retailers and wholesalers during its Southern Division Customer Rewards 2026 event on Feb. 10, a regional promotion designed to recognize sales performance and strengthen trade partnerships.

The event, held at the Motfin distributor location in Masaka, brought together winners from Masaka, Mbarara, Kabale, Ibanda and Mubende. Recipients earned business-supporting rewards by meeting assigned sales targets, including 36 deep freezers, 48 bicycles, 144 goats, and 360 jumpers and lanterns.

The UGX 200 million initiative represents Movit’s commitment to reinvesting in the growth of its trade partners. Company officials said the rewards were selected for their practical value in supporting mobility, productivity and household livelihoods.

Bruce Nabimanya, the southern region division business manager, said the performance-based program is part of Movit’s recurring regional engagements aimed at building sustainable partnerships.

This initiative is about recognizing effort and consistency, Nabimanya said. Every customer rewarded here today qualified by meeting their sales targets. As Movit, we believe in growing together with our trade partners, and that is why we continue to reinvest in initiatives that directly support their businesses and livelihoods.

Yasin Mbowa, the trade marketing manager for Uganda, noted that Masaka was selected as the host because of its high number of qualifying customers and central accessibility.

We had winners across Masaka, Mbarara, Kabale, Ibanda and Mubende, with Masaka recording the highest number, Mbowa said. Hosting the engagement here made it easier for customers across the Southern Division to participate. This program is part of our ongoing regional engagements to recognize performance and strengthen relationships with our customers.

Beneficiaries said the rewards offer tangible support for everyday operations. One recipient of a deep freezer noted the equipment would help expand their product offerings.

This freezer will help me expand my business to offer more products and serve my customers better, the beneficiary said. I am grateful to Movit for recognizing our hard work and supporting our businesses in a practical way.

The Southern Division Customer Rewards 2026 highlights Movit’s continued focus on recognizing customer performance while supporting sustainable business growth across regional markets.
