KAMPALA, Uganda — MultiChoice Uganda announced Monday that it is offering customers free access to SuperSport’s full lineup of soccer channels this holiday season, timed to coincide with the start of the Africa Cup of Nations.
The promotion, running from Dec. 18 to Jan. 19, 2026, will unlock the SuperSport bouquet for DStv subscribers on Access and above and GOtv subscribers on Plus and above at no extra charge.
Rinaldi Jamugisa, public relations and communications manager at MultiChoice Uganda, said the initiative is meant to unite fans during the festive period.
“Football is more than a game; it’s a passion that unites communities across Africa,” Jamugisa said. “We are unlocking SuperSport for all our customers so they can enjoy the best of local and international football without worrying about upgrades.”
The open viewing window ensures that all eligible subscribers can follow the AFCON 2025 tournament, which begins Dec. 21 in Morocco.
The expanded coverage for DStv customers will include the UEFA Champions League, Premier League matches, and competitions available on SS Football Plus and SS Variety 1. GOtv subscribers will gain access to UEFA Champions League, La Liga, and Serie A content.
Additionally, a dedicated SuperSport AFCON Pop-Up Channel will run from Dec. 18 to Jan. 19, featuring build-up shows, classic matches, team previews and analysis leading up to the tournament final.
