Today at the ongoing contest for the speaker of parliament, Zaake, and Among were snapped sharing a light moment in the presence of Thomas Tayebwa and Joel Ssenyonyi.

The duo even hugged and interfaced with one another in what appeared to be a gesture of reconciliation.

Zaake and Among have for the past weeks headlined in the mainstream media following their bitter split that stemmed from the latter’s mockery statements that prompted the NUP firebrand leader to retaliate with disparaging social media comments.

The row ended with Among rallying 155 MPs to cast a censure vote that booted Zaake out of the Commission office.

Zaake fled to the constitutional court to overturn the events. The case is due to be ruled upon soon.
