KAMPALA, Uganda — Uganda’s sensational music artist, Mun G, brought his signature energy to the launch of Castle Lite’s latest campaign, “Say My Name,” in a vibrant event that blended mystery with musical flair. The campaign, which aims to cement Castle Lite’s status as Uganda’s best tasting lite, kicked off with an intriguing stunt that had Kampala buzzing.

A large, enigmatic box appeared on the rooftop of Acacia Mall, a popular hangout spot offering stunning views of Kololo. The mystery surrounding the box drew curious onlookers and sparked a wave of online speculation, with everyone eager to guess what lay inside. Clues were dropped, adding to the excitement and anticipation.

The big reveal saw the box transform into a Castle Lite refrigerator, a fitting symbol for the crisp, refreshing beer. The unveiling was met with cheers and applause from the enthusiastic crowd, which included media personalities, lifestyle influencers, and dedicated beer fans. The highlight of the event was a lively performance of the “Say My Name” campaign’s official song by the celebrated Mun G. His performance underscored the brand’s close ties with Uganda’s dynamic music and pop culture scene, turning the product launch into a memorable entertainment experience.

Adu Rando, the Managing Director of Nile Breweries, shared that the “Say My Name” campaign is all about “reconnecting with consumers” and reminding them that Castle Lite offers a uniquely “full-flavored yet refreshing taste.” The launch event was designed to be just as distinctive and enjoyable as the beer itself.

Guests at the event were treated to a fun product sampling experience, savoring the smooth taste of Castle Lite. The atmosphere was electric as the crowd joined in a spirited chant, “when I say Castle, you say Lite!” creating a sense of community and brand loyalty.

Eric Malinga, Castle Lite’s Brand Manager, emphasized the brand’s commitment to innovation and creating memorable moments for its consumers. He pointed to features like the color-changing temperature indicators and ice-proof labels as examples of how Castle Lite goes beyond just a great taste to enhance the overall enjoyment.

Castle Lite, made with quality ingredients and no preservatives, is positioned as the perfect choice for those who appreciate a light beer that doesn’t compromise on flavor. With its continued focus on music and pop culture, Castle Lite is clearly aiming to be more than just a beverage – it’s a lifestyle choice that brings a little extra enjoyment to every moment.

Having started its journey in South Africa in 1994, Castle Lite has grown into a major player across Africa, including Uganda, becoming synonymous with a refreshing and enjoyable lite beer experience. The “Say My Name” campaign is the latest chapter in this story, inviting Ugandans to embrace and celebrate their favorite lite beer
