UCE Results: Jubilations as Code High school Students under new Curriculum

SEETA-  Following the release of 2024, Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) results, Teachers , Students and Parents of Code High School in Seeta Bajjo , welcomed the results with jubilations.

Some of the students celebrating victory at the school on Tuesday.

The UNEB center for this School which had 160 students at UCE in 2024 and surprisingly all passed in first grade despite of the fact that it was the first set of candidates to sit these exams under the new curriculum.

The First Lady and Minister of Education and Sports, Janet Museveni, officially released the 2025 Primary Leaving Examinations results during a ceremony at State House, Nakasero.

“It was not an easy task to pass these exams, but all was possible by the will of God. I thank all our teachers, school administration and the parents who took good care of us to the extent that we emerged the best in these exams.” Remarked Ndagire Peace Patience, 2024 senior 4 class Members at Code High School.

She also pointed out that they received enough mentorship, training and had enough tests which enabled them not to find difficulties in writing their final exams.

Some of the students currently in Senior four class, who were found celebrating, expressed hope that having witnessed all the classes before them passing with flying colors, compared with their hard work, they have no doubt that they will even perform much better.

“We are happy for this new curriculum which gives us more knowledge on the outside environment on top of making us critical thinkers (job seekers), all I can say , this is the best curriculum our country has ever had.” Remarked Mwesigwa Kenneth, S.4 2025

Eve Ssenyonga , the Director of the School who was in a jolly mood, based this better performance to faith in God and the hardworking staff which prepared the students very well.

“Am not surprised by this performance because I expected it, here we train students not only in Academics but even in other disciplines like Debating skills , Music Dance and Drama as well as sports.” She added.
