KITENDE, Uganda — Vipers SC claimed its eighth StarTimes Uganda Premier League title following a 2-0 victory over Express FC at St. Mary’s Stadium, securing consecutive championships.
The final-day win pushed Vipers to 67 points, five ahead of second-placed KCCA FC. Federation of Uganda Football Associations officials, sponsors, and club leaders presented the trophy during a post-match ceremony at the stadium.
Club partner Plascon joined the celebrations, noting the title reflects a shared commitment to Ugandan sports.
Benjamin Bicung, the marketing coordinator at Plascon, praised the team after the trophy presentation.
“We are extremely proud to celebrate this Uganda Premier League triumph together with Vipers SC,” Bicung said. “Defending the title is never easy, and this achievement reflects the club’s discipline, ambition, consistency, and winning mentality, values that strongly align with the Plascon brand.”
Bicung added that the partnership aims to use football to connect with communities and inspire youth across Uganda.
With the domestic title secured, Vipers will prepare for continental competition next season.
