The Mungu Feni Foundation has continued its strong record of community service recognition, most recently securing three top honors at the 2025 West Nile Quality Brand Awards.
The organization received the Quality Excellence Award — Platinum, and was named both the Best Community Development NGO in West Nile and the Best Local NGO in West Nile.
These 2025 accolades confirm a pattern of consistent excellence maintained by the foundation over recent years. In 2024, the foundation clinched Best Social Impact NGO of the Year and Best Community Development NGO at the West Nile Quality Brand Awards. That followed its 2023 recognition as Best NGO of the Year in West Nile.
In addition to its regional track record, the foundation also earned the Best Community Transformation Organization in East Africa at the East Africa Brand Quality Awards, underscoring its broad commitment to uplifting communities.
Feni Benard, a foundation representative, said the continued recognition was a result of local engagement.
“It is a very good achievement for us to receive such awards from the communities,” Benard said. “We really appreciate it. This is all about trust, teamwork, coming together to support youths and the vulnerable in the communities.”

Benard noted that the organization targets more than 300 young people, orphans and the underprivileged through five to six community projects, helping them to better their lives and even create jobs for themselves.
