The university also outlined specific housing for students in the College of Health Sciences and the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences. Health sciences students assigned to Galloway House for the 2025-26 academic year are expected to move in at the start of the recess. Agricultural and environmental sciences students with recess at the Kabanyolo Agricultural site will be housed at Kabanyolo Hostel.

Private students wishing to stay in university housing during the recess will be required to pay a fee of 176,500 Ugandan shillings for the 10-week period. Payment must be made via a Payment Reference Number (PRN) to the bank and is subject to space availability.

The statement instructed all hall wardens to make necessary arrangements for a smooth transition for students.
