KAMPALA, Uganda — Ugandan actor Sam Bagenda, known as Dr. Bbosa of The Ebonies, was officially introduced to the parents of his partner, Penina Kemigisa, in a traditional ceremony.
The private event, held at Kemigisa’s family home, was attended by close friends and family members. It marks a significant step for the couple, bringing them closer to a “kwanjula,” or formal introduction ceremony, a traditional rite of passage in many Ugandan unions.
The couple is expected to announce a wedding date soon. Fans and well-wishers have offered congratulations.
