Moses Matovu, one of the Directors of Afrigo Band during one of his performances.
In the latest communication released by Mr. James Wasula, the Executive Director of the Band, dated 24th August 2025, he noted that , no person or entity may film, audio-record, broadcast livestream, stream-record transmit or otherwise communicate to the public any portion of an Afrigo Band live performance without the Executive Office’s prior express written permission.
“Any permission must be requested in writing and granted in writing before the performance date Verbal approvals will not be accepted. As the event organiser or manager, you bear the responsibility for ensuring compliance by staff, contractors, security, and attendees Permitting or failing to prevent unauthorised recording or streaming will make the organiser liable.”  Reads part of the communique.
That, this  reminder must be posted, communicated to, and enforced with all vendors crew, security, contractors working the event, and attendees.
