Security Agencies with Philanthropist Brian Kirumira aka Brian white have agreed to post pone the two day events which were scheduled to take place over the previous weekend
Brian White and his team had scheduled the media launch on 29th April 2023 at Kololo Air strip and this was expected to be attended by journalists from all top media houses in the country
At the same event, Brian was expected to address the press about his upcoming programs since he had spent some time outside the country and had decided to return to Uganda with more developmental programmes
on addressing the media on Tuesday, Luke Owoyesigire the Deputy Kampala Metropolitan Police Spokesperson revealed that they were informed about the events, however for better preparations they advised him to schedule the same on other dates.
“Being a two day event , free of charge, we expect to have a very big population which requires to be planned for by both the organizers and security. He will be informing us in writing about the new dates (through writing to the Inspector General of Police).”
Oweyesgire further noted that during this period, they also expect the organizing committee to write to Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) informing them about the same as provided for under the law.
