Umar Ssuna, widely known as Alpha Motors Ug, has become a prominent philanthropist in Kampala by using his business success to support needy children and community projects.

Umar Ssuna, known to many as “Alpha Motors Ug,” has built a reputation not just as a successful businessman but as a dedicated philanthropist. Born on May 12, 1998, and raised in the bustling city of Kampala, Uganda, Ssuna’s life story is one of entrepreneurial spirit and a deep-seated commitment to giving back to his community.

As a young man navigating the vibrant and often challenging streets of Kampala, Ssuna developed a keen understanding of the struggles faced by many of the city’s youth. His primary vehicle for this community work is Alpha Motors Ug, a business he founded and operates in Bakuli, Kampala. The proceeds from his enterprise are a cornerstone of his charitable activities. Ssuna has made it a personal mission to ensure that a lack of funds does not stand in the way of a child’s education. He is a one-man scholarship fund, actively seeking out and paying school fees for numerous needy children across the city. His work goes a step further, as he is known to personally engage with children living on the streets, offering them a chance to leave behind their difficult lives and return to the classroom.

Beyond individual support, Ssuna extends his philanthropy to a variety of community projects, using the success of Alpha Motors Ug to support initiatives that strengthen the social fabric of his home city. His work is a testament to the idea that business success can and should be a powerful force for social good, making him a respected and influential figure in Kampala.
