The Ministry of Education releases homeschooling packages to enable self-study in amid coronavirus lockdown
The homeschooling materials were released after the ministry designed a framework for the provision of continued learning during the stay-home directive.

Ministry of Education says it worked with a consortium of different stakeholders, under the guidance of the National Curriculum Development Centre (NCDC), to develop standardized study lesson packages.
All the materials (attached here) are in the core subjects for primary and secondary levels, to be distributed to all learners.
Education Minister Janet Museveni says model teachers will continue preparing lessons to be delivered through on radio and television stations across the country.

The role of parents in supporting children’s homeschooling
Education Minister Mrs. Museveni appealed to parents and families, to involve the learners in their home activities to give them skills for life such as cooking, cleaning, gardening, and looking after animals.

“Spend time with your learners to develop their values and positive attitudes. Tell them stories, riddles, and other life lessons and support their learning”, she says.
