An NRM flag bearer, fresh from winning the party ticket in the recently concluded NRM party primary elections, has shocked many after bagging a whopping UGX 500 million from fixed games provided by the Uganda Bettors Association.
The politician, whose identity has been concealed for security reasons, revealed that after draining all his resources during the primaries, he decided to take a bold risk by staking the little money left with Uganda Bettors, a decision that changed his life overnight.
“I used more than UGX 400 million during campaigns, even selling my house to facilitate everything. But it has come with blessings, first with the party flag, and now I have recovered every shilling I used.
