A Soroti university student is whistling all the way to bank having placed a fixed ticket with odd 812 and won Shs227 million.
The punter who asked to be identified by the Christian name said he was given this games by Uganda Bettors Association with an assurance of 100% that they would never lose.
“I froze in disbelief when I realized my stake had made me win ssh227 million,” the student of mass communication told journalists on Wednesday.
Asked whether he will stop betting, Oscar said having won shs227 million, he will continue placing bets.
“I am going home to rest and plan what to do with the money I have won but I will use more money to make money.”
“I have been seeing Uganda Bettors Association trending online on how they have helped so many people gain fincail freedom, I decided to take the risk and paid for their fixed games, it worked!”
22 Bet brand ambassador cum singer, Diana Namukwaya, also known as Spice Diana handed over the cheque to the punter.
Frank Lulinda, the digital manager for 22 Bet said by paying the shs227 million to the winner, the company is fulfilling its promise to clients who place bets.
