KAMPALA, UGANDA – In a significant infrastructure milestone, The Arab Contractors (Osman Ahmed Osman & Co.) has completed the construction of the Pallisa-Kaliro Road and bridge, 11 months ahead of the planned completion date of January 2025. This achievement marks a remarkable milestone for the Uganda National Roads Authority (UNRA) In-House Construction Supervision Team and is expected to have a profound impact on the country’s economic growth.
The Pallisa-Kaliro Road, a critical transportation artery in Eastern Uganda, spans over 100 kilometers and connects the districts of Pallisa and Kaliro. The new road and bridge are designed to improve access to markets, healthcare, and education, while also reducing the number of accidents on this vital route.
