KAMPALA, Uganda — Talkio Mobile, one of Uganda’s fastest-growing innovative telecom providers, announced the grand opening of its flagship service center at Ntinda Complex on Aug. 15, 2025.

The new facility at Ntinda Complex was designed to offer an exceptional customer experience with modern design, comfortable waiting areas and state-of-the-art technology. It is a one-stop shop for all Talkio Mobile services, positioned to serve the thousands of residents, students and professionals in the Ntinda area.

“The choice of Ntinda Complex as our newest service center location was deliberate and strategic,” Vianne Allan Ahura, CEO of Talkio Mobile, said in a statement. “Ntinda represents the vibrant, forward-thinking spirit of modern Uganda — a community that values innovation, convenience and quality service. Our new facility embodies these same values while bringing our revolutionary telecom solutions directly to where people live, work, and connect”.

The Ntinda Complex service center provides the full range of Talkio Mobile services, including instant SIM card provisioning with free, immediate activation, advanced eSIM solutions, and customizable data and voice bundle packages. The center also offers enterprise solutions for businesses, device support, and integrated payment solutions that support multiple platforms, including mobile money.

To celebrate the opening, Talkio Mobile has launched promotional campaigns. All customers who purchase a SIM card during the opening will be automatically entered into a grand prize draw for new smartphone devices, in addition to voice and data bundles.

The service center is open Monday through Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., with extended hours during peak periods and special events. The facility is fully accessible with wheelchair-friendly access, dedicated parking spaces and multilingual staff.

“We’ve designed this center with the customer journey in mind,” said Martha Ninsiima, Customer Experience Manager at Talkio Mobile. “From the moment customers enter our doors, they experience the difference that comes with truly customer-centric service delivery. Our team has undergone extensive training to ensure every interaction reflects our commitment to excellence”.

This new service center builds on the company’s successful partnership with Interswitch’s Quickteller agent network, which has established Talkio Mobile’s presence at over 20,000 locations in Uganda. The Ntinda Complex service center represents a shift from agent-based services to company-owned customer experience centers.

“Our partnership with Interswitch provided the foundation for our nationwide reach,” Ahura said. “Now, with dedicated service centers like Ntinda, we’re elevating the customer experience to match the quality and innovation of our network services”.

The Ntinda Complex opening is part of Talkio Mobile’s ambitious plan to establish more service centers in key locations across Kampala and other major towns throughout 2025 and 2026. The company has allocated significant resources to infrastructure development for these new centers.
