KAMPALA, Uganda — Uganda Breweries Limited (UBL) has received the prestigious Prestige Trophy from Monde Selection, recognizing 25 years of consistently producing internationally acclaimed, high-quality brands. The award comes as UBL nears its 80th anniversary of brewing.
The award ceremony was held recently in Rome, Italy. The global accolade underscores UBL’s commitment to delivering high-quality products. The Prestige Trophy is granted to companies that have received a Grand Gold, Gold, Silver or Bronze award over multiple years.

Since 1961, the independent organization has assessed consumer products like food, beverages and cosmetics, awarding quality labels based on sensory analysis, organoleptic criteria and compliance with international standards.
