KAMPALA, Uganda — Uganda’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Gen. Abubakhar Jeje Odongo, met with Vietnam’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Anh Tuan, today to further strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries. The two sides focused on enhancing cooperation in trade, investment, agriculture and multilateral diplomacy.

The meeting, which included H.E. Vu Than Huyen, Vietnam’s ambassador-designate to Uganda, served to build on the momentum from the historic state visit of Uganda’s president to Vietnam in November 2022.
