UNEB: All set for release of 2024 UCE results

UNEB adjust examinations timetables

Kampala, Uganda – All is set for the official release of the 2024 Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) examination results, according to Jennifer Kalule-Musamba, Principal Public Relations Officer of the Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB).

In a statement, Kalule-Musamba announced that the results of the first cohort of learners under the New Lower Secondary Curriculum (NLSC) and the last cohort under the Old Curriculum (Transitional) Examination will be released simultaneously.

The results will be officially released by the Minister for Education and Sports, Janet Museveni, at State House Nakasero, starting at 11:00 am.

After the official release, parents, candidates, and well-wishers will be able to access the results via SMS on their mobile phone handsets.

Schools will also be able to access the results through their portals as soon as the Minister releases the results, she said.

All is set for the duo release of two sets of examination results for the 2024 Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE ) examinations. Checking Results via SMS

To access the results, parents, candidates, and well-wishers can send an SMS by typing <UCE, leave Space>, full Index No and sending it to 6600.

Note that Transitional Candidates’ Index Numbers end with “T” (e.g., U0000/001T). To access these results, type UCE<Space>, (Full index No.) Uoooo/001T and send to 6600.

For New Curriculum candidates, type UCE<Space>, (Full Index No.) Uoooo/001 and send to 6600.
