KAMPALA, Uganda— Vivo Energy Uganda has officially launched its new “Ebyakabi Nze Abirina #SityaMbeera” campaign, a powerful initiative designed to empower Ugandan motorcyclists with enhanced confidence and resilience on the roads. The campaign highlights two key Shell products: Shell Advance motorcycle engine oil and Shell FuelSave, both engineered to help riders achieve greater mileage and efficiency.

The “Ebyakabi Nze Abirina #SityaMbeera” slogan translates to a strong affirmation of self-belief, celebrating the “kapos” or “Lords of the streets” — the dedicated boda-boda riders who are vital to Uganda’s daily progress. Vivo Energy aims to support these riders by offering innovative solutions tailored to their demanding operational needs.

Riders can participate in the campaign by purchasing a pack of Shell Advance. They then send a unique code found under the seal, along with their motorcycle’s license plate number, to 6688. Vivo Energy intends to reward over 10,000 riders with various items to support their daily work.

Shell Advance is a globally trusted motorcycle lubricant, featuring active cleansing and a superior formulation for comprehensive engine protection, even in challenging conditions like high temperatures, dust, hilly terrain, and traffic. Its quality is further underscored by its endorsement as a technical partner by Italian sport bike manufacturer Ducati, a collaboration that has seen significant success in MotoGP world championships.

Complementing this, Shell FuelSave utilizes breakthrough Dynaflex technology to optimize fuel efficiency, allowing riders to cover more kilometers for less, ensuring real value with every journey without compromising motorcycle performance.

Beyond product offerings, Vivo Energy supports riders with rapid oil change services for quick maintenance, an expanding network of rider-friendly Shell stations across Uganda, and a loyalty program that rewards consistent patronage.

“We recognize the strength and determination of every rider who plays an important role in driving Uganda’s economy and connecting communities,” said Rebecca Nassiwa, Brand Manager – Lubricants at Vivo Energy Uganda. “Through the ‘Ebyakabi Nze Abirina #SityaMbeera’ campaign, we want to empower riders with the best products and services offered at Shell, including dedicated service points, expert mechanics, and fueling points. This will ensure boda-boda riders and motorcyclists get the best experience so they can take on every journey with confidence. Join us in celebrating the spirit of the Ugandan rider to outride anything with Shell Advance and Shell Fuel Save.”

Francis Kayoki, Lubricants Sales Manager at Vivo Energy Uganda, reiterated the superior protective qualities of Shell Advance for engines in harsh conditions. Geoffrey Elyanu, Supply and Distribution Manager, representing Vivo Energy Uganda’s Managing Director at the launch, emphasized the company’s commitment to continuous growth. He stated that “Ebyakabi Nze Abirina #SityaMbeera” promises riders the winning combination of Shell’s products for powerful, uninterrupted, and peaceful rides.

Vivo Energy Uganda remains dedicated to supporting local businesses and delivering quality products and services that meet the needs of communities throughout the country.
