AIDO NETWORK: Uganda set to host Royals from all over the world

Atekele international Development Organization (AIDO) has finalized preparations for Kings and Queens convention which is going to be hosted by Uganda

According to Akisa Harriet the Deputy in charge of AIDO Network Uganda they are ready to host this event which will run from 1st June to 4th June 2023 and President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni is expected to address the participants on 3rd June in Soroti

“The same group will lay a wreath on the grave of late Emorimori’s grave and later they will have a lunchon at Serena Hotel Kla on 4th”

“We are expecting Royals (Kings and Queens) who are coming to Uganda and Kenya we shall discuss with them the problems faced by the cultural institutions and how best they can be solved.” Akisa added

Kanyike Allan Bweete Deputy Executive Director AIDO Uganda revealed that before the Kampala event, they will hold a conventiom in Kenya comprising of business engagement and investment opportunities.

“We expect business people from United States United Kingdom as we look forward for a greater transformation of our society but with respect to culture and heritage.” Kanyike noted

He adds that its going to be paid for activity with a couple package costing US Dollars 1146 and a single package for 668 US Dollars and that all people who will participate will benefit alot from connections from the Royals to investment opportunities

Why Kings and Queens?
This organization comprising of different cultural institutions found it necessary to work with Kings and Queens because they are custodians of cultural protection.

Other Activities by AIDO Uganda
AIDO Network is a Non Government Organization (NGO) under AIDO International that promotes culture , heritage and Obuntu

The same organization also supports the vulnerables in communities which is done through mobilization of resources.

Since 2019 AIDO has done anumber of activities in the country like supporting health facilities i.e Soroti Regional Referral hospital with medical equipment worth 60 million shillings, During covid19 period we supported
Emorimori with some detergents
