Airtel Kenya has apologised to Kenyans over a technical hitch experienced when they purchase bundles.

In a statement, Airtel Kenya said the company has been having intermittent technical challenges affecting some customers who purchase bundles through M-Pesa.

The issue does not affect all purchases through this channel and only occurs during certain hours of the day, Airtel said.

However, it said the issue is under resolution, and customers will get compensation in the form of an additional 1GB within 48 hours.

Customers had been complaining about the issue of bundles on the operator’s Twitter page
