Business and Professional Women Uganda Chapter gets new leadership

BPW-Hotel-Africa-Attendants-of-the-MEET-and-GREET_1-780x405The newly elected governing board of the Business and Professional Women Uganda chapter (BPW-Uganda) have advised entrepreneurs and business starters to be keen on turning barriers into bridges to succeed in their ventures.

Speaking at a meet and greet organized by the new BPW-Uganda governing council, Damali Ssali, the Chief Programs and Projects Officer at PSFU, emphasized that business and professional people ought to lead themselves first if they are to lead others.

Dr. Maggie Kigozi, the former Chairperson of BPW, who is currently an investment advisor, handed the management mantle to what she referred to as younger, more dynamic blood.

She congratulated the newly elected President of BPW-Uganda, Jackie Nansubuga, who has been working as the Director- Networking for the last 5 years.

“I am happy to hand over the mantle to another successful entrepreneur Jackie Nansubuga of Quality Management. A great team was selected to work with her. I look forward to see them grow BPW Ug. So many more Ugandan women entrepreneurs and professionals can benefit,” said Prof. Kigozi.

Nansubuga, the new President of BPW Kampala, envisions a network that appeals to all professional and business women and one that provides an opportunity to network, meet women in leadership and find new business opportunities.
