KAMPALA-As we are left with only three and half days to closure of the mopping exercise of the National Housing and Population Census 2024, Uganda Bureau of Statistics (UBOS) has urged all those that were not counted to use this opportunity to reach out on their local leadership to secure appointment with Enumerators.
According to the official statement released on Thursday, 23rd May 2024, signed by Dr. Chris Mukiza , the Executive Director of UBOS/ Census Commissioner, this exercise has been going on in Kampala Metropolitan area ,

“This is, therefore, to request the general public particularly Household Heads who have not yet been counted to reach out to their area LC1 Chairpersons. This is to enable them make an appointment when an Enumerator can visit their Household within the stated mopping-up period ending Sunday 26th May 2024.”
Mukiza also commended the general public their cooperation and patience during the Census 2024 enumeration exercise.
