KAMPALA, Uganda — Ecobank Uganda launched an innovative loan repayment campaign on Wednesday, aiming to empower customers to manage their finances effectively in the new year.
The “KIGGALE ne Ecobank” campaign offers a two-instalment repayment break at the start of the loan, allowing customers to access salary loans of up to $100,000 (UGX 372 million) and begin repayment between April and May 2025.
According to Ecobank officials, the initiative is designed to alleviate financial strain often experienced after the holiday season, supporting families with back-to-school expenses and individuals pursuing their 2025 goals.
“The ‘KIGGALE ne Ecobank Campaign’ is more than just a financial offer; it’s a partnership that will help customers jumpstart their 2025 goals without financial pressure,” said Ms. Grace Muliisa, Ecobank Managing Director, during the launch ceremony.
The campaign also offers additional benefits, including flexible repayment terms, zero monthly fees, and competitive pricing starting at 15.9%.
Ecobank customers can also access other tailored financing solutions, such as salary advances, emergency loans, and travel loans.
The “KIGGALE ne Ecobank” initiative is part of Ecobank’s commitment to providing innovative and customer-centric solutions, addressing practical financial challenges, and enabling customers to achieve their dreams.
