RUBAGA-The suspended Resident City Commissioner (RCC) Rubaga Division, has handed over the office to his deputy Doreen Keita , who will be serving under acting capacity.
At the hand over ceremony,Burora noted that he is grateful for having delighently served the people for his five years of service as he laughed at those who thought that they could suppress him because of the love to stay in office.
“It’s not about the office/Job as Madam Anita thought, It’s about the Service. I had all the options to choose the Job or to remain true to my conscience. I chose the latter.”
He added that during his term of office, there might be some individuals whom he didn’t impress by the way he did his work, but he did this as he had to do.
“I may not be able to measure my legacy, as a representative of the President, but I’m sure there is no single day that I didn’t represent him to the best of my knowledge.”
He promised to unveil his next move before the end of this week.
Burora was last week suspended by his supervisors in the office of the President on what was referred to as violation of the work terms and conditions when he constantly attacked Rt. Hon Annet Among and the whole Parliament of Uganda over extravagancy in spending tax payer’s money.
