Judiciary set to release Amoko’s burrial program

Following the passing away of Justice Stella Arach Amoko , one of the senior members of the Supreme Court bench.

The judiciary has set timelines to release the detailed burrial program for the lady justice.

According to the official communication by the Senior Communications officer Sheila Wamboka , the family and top judiciary management will release the full program in the afternoon

“Dear colleagues, the Judiciary Public Relations Officer, His Worship Jamson Karemani, will *this afternoon* give updates to media following the death of Supreme Court Justice, the Hon. Lady Justice Stella Arach-Amoko,” reads part of the communication

This will be held at 2.00pm at Tweed Towers Kampala.
Judiciary has been hit with another big blow after losing a second Supreme Court Judge (Stella Arach Amoko) in a period of less than one year .

On December 7th 2022, the Judiciary lost Ruby Opio Aweri a supreme court judge and early this year on March 7th 2023 , Kenneth Kakuru a court of Appeal justice passed away.

Biography
Amoko has been a family lady with children and other dependants. She has passed away at 69 years of age.

Justice Stella Arach-Amoko was appointed a Justice of the Supreme Court in 2013, a position she has served until the time of her death.

She joined the Judiciary in
1997 as a Judge of the High Court and was elevated to Justice of the Court of Appeal in 2010.
