Man remanded for tress passing at Nakasero State lodge

KAMPALA-Buganda Road Chief Magistrate Ronald Kayizzi has charged a 40 year old Kiwanuka Shafiq , Muganda by tribe , Salesman and resident of Makindye Barracks zone , Kampala District with criminal tress pass.

Prosecution has informed court that,on 30th day of April 2024 , Kiwanuka entered into state house premises being a restricted area with an intent to intimidate or annoy annoy the President for the Republic of Uganda (Yoweri Kaguta Museveni)

Secondly, that on On the 30th day of April 2024 at State House Nakasero Central Division in Kampala District , with intent to intimidate or annoy No RA 248904 Private Ssekanjako Abbas who was on the guard that day, threatened to attack or injure the above individual.

Ssekanjako on appearing in court, denied the charges as the state Prosecution led by Nabafu informed court that investigations in the matter are complete.

The trial magistrate has therefore remanded the accused to Luzira Prison until ay 29th 2024.
