Samson Tumwijeho, the chairperson of Mbarara Painters and General Contractors won a motorbike in Plascon draw
KAMPALA —Kansai Plascon has awarded winners of the 5th week of ‘Paint & Win’ promotion.
During the draw that was held on weekend, Samson Hannington Tumwijeho, the chairman of Mbarara Painters and General Contractors was among the biggest winners of the 5th week after walking away with a motorbike and a UGX1m cash prize.
Tumwijeho explained that whenever he bought paint, he would also scratch the cards that he found there.
At first, he said he would get only pens, but that he never gave up until when he won cash and now a motor bike.
Mr. Daniel Kayongo, the Brand Manager for Kansai Plascon Uganda Limited said so many people across the country have participated in the promotion.
“So many people have won prizes, and we are only getting started,” he said.
As of now, he told reporters that Plascon has given out close to UGX. 300 million worth of airtime across the country.
“We’ve gotten out close to 45 million shillings in cash and five motorbikes. We’ve given away so many other prizes including T-shirts, caps and, and so many other prizes. It’s quite exciting to see that we’re getting winners from across the country”.
During the 5th round, winners from Manafwa, Buwenge, Mbarara, Kampala, Mukono and other places.
“We’re getting out close to 300 million shillings worth of prizes so far. And is more than double that still to be given away before the end of this promotion.
Instant prizes include airtime and pens and during the activations, t-shirts, caps, keyrings, drawstring bags and umbrellas.
Daily winners get a chance to compete for a motorbike through the weekly TV engagements.
