State Minister for Sports, Hon. Peter Ogwang
KAMPALA-The State Minister for Sports, Hon. Peter Ogwang has appointed seven people to the Board of Mandela National Stadium (Namboole) whose appointment takes immediate effect.
According to the press release signed by Minister Ogwang on 5th December 2023, the Board will be chaired by Muwanga Barlow Edward John.
“In the exercise of powers vested in me under the Memorandum and Articles of Association of Mandela National Stadium Limited Article 36 and 37, I am pleased to appoint the following as Chairperson and Members of the Board of Directors of Mandela National Stadium Limited with immediate effect.” reads part of the statement other members of the Board are; Anne Abeja Eng. Innocent Acheng Nkuyahaga, Diana Angwech, Robert Okudi Bellarmine, Namboga Timothy Ronald, and Ali Tagoole.
The outgoing board was being chaired by Rosette Lubwama Kebba with members; Mustapher Achidri, Godfrey Wamani, Uganda Golf Club (UGC) Lady Captain Anne Abeja, former Uganda Sports Press Association (Uspa) president Mark Namanya, Veronica Mukyala and Butaleja RDC Jimmy Ebil Segawa.
