Movit extends support to Nsambya Babies Home ahead of its Charity walk 

Movit products under its brand of Baby Junior on Friday donated a wide range of products to Nsambya Babies home.

On handing over the donation to Steven management of Nsambya Babies Home,
Mukisa , the Marketing Manager Movit Baby Junior, revealed that they brought this support to appreciate the facility for the good work it has done for over years.

“Its an amazing place taking care of young Children , when we had that they were organizing a charity walk, we felt touched and thus coming up with this donation.”

Mukisa commended that the good work done by Nsambya babies home need to be supported and thus called upon all Corporate companies and willing individuals to bring in whatever they can to support the children.

Sister Maria Teddy Nakyanzi , the Administrator of Nsambya Babies home, welcommed the support noting that it will save them alot of money which they could have used in purchasing these care products since they need them in their day to day life.

“Without such support , we can’t stand because we use the little we have to provide for these children everything like Clothing, food , shelter , education and medical care but still its not enough.”

She added that having more than 30 children its not an easy task because they require a lot of things for a better life.

“We get babies abandoned from various places , take care of them as we look for their biological parents/ relatives and where the need arise we get for them adoptive/foster parents. In the second quarter we managed to reunite 28 babies with their relatives/ parents, 5 with foster parents.”

The donation included Baby Junior Jelly, Baby Junior soap, Baby Junior T shirts  and Buckets.

Charity walk
As of one means to raise funds to run the Babies home , the management in conjunction with other stakeholders have organized a charity walk scheduled to take place on 30th September 2023 at Railway Grounds Kampala.

The participants will be required to buy a walking T-shirts or Caps at the Babies home, Nsambya Parish , Kamwokya Parish and Rubaga Washing Bay.

Nakyanzi also called upon all people of good will and well wishers to turn up in large numbers on that day.

Other projects
There are several other projects like Tents and Chairs for hire , Guest house at Kamwokya , Children shop Abato Shop which provide support to the Babies.
