According to Joel Tugaineyo,  this event will welcome two films,  Sèt Lam by Vincent Fontano and Farewell friends by Lawrence Valin from Reunion Island for the very first time at Ngalabi.

“We are thrilled to be the first premier stop in Africa for Cut Me If You Can by Nicolas Polixene and Sylvain Loubet (France). In this year’s submissions, we received a rise in animation, sci-fi, and magical realism genres alongside drama, thriller, fantasy, comedy, afro-surrealism, experimental, and documentary. The selected films highlight a range of thematic areas from loss, grief, identity, friendship, cultural identity, innovation, love & loneliness, to the influencer economy effects.” He added

This festival which will be held at Circular Design Hub, is a tribute to all the powerful, creative voices that are shaping our industry today.
