The Permanent Secretary in the Office of the Prime Minister, Keith Muhakanizi, has passed on, the Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja has confirmed.
He passed away this evening in a hospital in Milan, Italy.
Muhakanizi has been serving as Permanent Secretary in the Office of the Prime Minister. Before his posting to OPM, he served as the Ministry of Finance Permanent Secretary and Secretary to the Treasury.
A formal statement on his passing will be released by the Presidency.
