Tororo, Uganda – Pentecostal pastor in Tororo, Uganda, has stunned his congregation by announcing that he has won over UGX 300 million from sports betting.

Pastor Andrew Obongo, who claims to have had no prior experience with betting, shared his extraordinary testimony with his church flock, attributing his windfall to divine intervention.

Hallelujah! God works in different ways, and blessings come in different ways. I have never been betting, I even don’t know how to bet but since God wanted me to become rich, he had to show me this way. One day, I was scrolling through the internet and a story popped up of how a security guard won money from Uganda Bettors association fixed games, without wasting time, I went straight to Uganda Bettors Association website and looked for fixed games, I saw the subscription and immediately contacted them on WhatsApp for guidance on how to pay, after paying, I asked them to stake for me since I have no idea of how it’s done. I sent my stake as well. I forward my bank details as requested and the following day, they told me the ticket won, of course I couldn’t believe it even after showing me, so I waited for the transaction message, after 2 days, I received it,” he narrated!

According to Pastor Obongo, his winning streak began when he stumbled upon a story about a security guard who had won a substantial amount from the Uganda Bettors Association‘s fixed games. Intrigued, Pastor Obongo visited the association’s website, subscribed to their services, and contacted them for guidance on how to place a bet.

After sending his stake and bank details, Pastor Obongo claims that the association informed him that his ticket had won, and he subsequently received a transaction message confirming the payment.

While some may question the ethics of a pastor engaging in sports betting, Pastor Obongo remains unapologetic about his newfound fortune. “I’m not mean to share how I have got the money because I don’t want the public to start questioning my source of income,” he said.

With his winnings, Pastor Obongo plans to continue betting until he achieves financial satisfaction. “I’m not satisfied yet, so I need more,” he affirmed.

The Uganda Bettors Association, which provided Pastor Obongo with the winning tip, is a reputable organization that offers fixed games and other betting tips to its subscribers.
