The executive director of Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB), Mr. Dan Odong

The wait is finally over for the 798,771 candidates who sat for the 2024 Primary Leaving Examination (PLE). The Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) is set to release the results today, Thursday, January 23, 2025, at State House, Entebbe, starting at 11:00 AM.

The atmosphere is tense with anticipation as candidates, parents, and teachers eagerly await the outcome. The results will be broadcast live on all National Television and Radio stations, as well as other social media channels, ensuring that everyone can access the information instantly.

To get the results, candidates can use the Short Message Services (SMS) on mobile telecom networks. Simply type PLE, leave a space, and then type the full index number, for example, 003301/368, and send it to 6600 on all mobile telecom networks.

According to UNEB Executive Director Dan N. Odongo, the overall performance of candidates in 2024 has improved compared to the previous year. This is a testament to the hard work and dedication of students, teachers, and parents.

Minister of Education and Sports Mama Janet K. Museveni will unveil the results, marking a significant milestone for the candidates. The results will also be accessible online and through school portals, ensuring convenience and transparency.
