KAMPALA – In this second part of Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education analysis, we look at schools with 19-in-20 points

Schools in Wakiso and Kampala dominate the list with St.Marys Secondary School, Kitende (Wakiso) posting 24 candidates, Kings College, Budo (Wakiso) 23, Uganda Martyrs SS, Namugongo (Wakiso) 19 and Seeta High school (Mukono) 15.

Of the 43,625 female candidates who registered for the exams, 17,907 (41.4 percent) obtained at least three principal passes, 11,453 (26.5 percent) secured at least two principal passes, while 8,858 (20.5 percent) managed one. Some 4,671 (10.7 percent) only got a subsidiary pass while 373 females (0.9 percent) failed – they didn’t get a principal pass or a subsidiary.

The list is based, primarily on the number of candidates with 19 points out of 20 points in each school.
