KAMPALA – State House Anti-Corruption Unit (SHACU) in a joint operation with the Uganda Police Force on Friday arrested a top Post bank Official accused of fraudulently issuing financial cards to people to access loans to more than one bank.
In a statement released, SHACU indicated that they “in liaison with Police had arrested Danson Nahurura, a Post Bank official for fraudulently processing and issuing financial cards to people.
He allegedly charges sh1.2m to issue cards which enable people with loans in one bank to acquire loans in other banks.”

It was not yet clear where the suspect had been detained by press time.
