KAMPALA, Uganda — Uganda Breweries Limited (UBL), the country’s leading manufacturer of premium adult beverages, is seeking to grow its market access outside East Africa.

The company has invited interested business entities to submit bids for the distribution of UBL products in international markets. This move aims to widen UBL’s pool of distributors and increase its global presence.

UBL boasts a portfolio of renowned brands, including Uganda Waragi, Bond 7, Tusker, Guinness, and Bell, among others. The company is also the importer of prominent international brands such as Johnnie Walker, Gordons, and Baileys.

To qualify for the distribution partnership, interested entities must meet specific requirements, including certificate of incorporation, tax registration certificates, and import licenses for the destination market.

Applications must be submitted by February 11, 2015, to the UBL main gate in Luzira or via email to ublexport@diageo.com.

UBL’s expansion efforts are expected to increase the company’s revenue and create new opportunities for growth in international markets.
